Your contribution is absolutely vital: the survey is principally about you, how you feel currently, how the organisation you work for looks after you and your colleagues, and whether you have had any experiences with mental wellbeing that you would like to share. There are no right or wrong answers, and we value your honest feedback above all else. Most importantly, please remember that anything you tell us will be treated in strict confidence and you will at all times remain anonymous. The whole survey should take around 15 to 20 minutes to complete.

This survey is commissioned by The Benevolent, the charity that provides support for current and former employees of the UK drinks industry. Using aggregated results from the survey, The Benevolent aims to raise awareness of mental health issues within the trade and understand where it can best help people and organisations. To reiterate: The Benevolent will not have access to any personal information you supply. The charity will only receive the analysed aggregated data by Wine Intelligence, which will retain the confidential information securely as governed by the Market Research Society Code of Conduct and the Data Protection Act.

Conduct of the survey:

This survey is anonymous. All analysis of your answers will be carried out at an aggregate level, not an individual level. In cases where you would like to tell us more about your experiences, please do so in such a way that no personal details for yourself or others are disclosed. If necessary, use alias names in place of real names.

The survey focuses on mental health and your personal experience; please be aware that completing it might cause emotional distress. If you feel uncomfortable at any point of the survey, please feel free to withdraw from participating.
